Fundraising / Donations
Major sources of funding for JCDDRB and NextStep for Life services include county tax dollars, the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Vocational Rehabilitation, United Way, Variety Club, as well as several community organizations. Additionally, JCDDRB and NextStep conduct fundraising activities and receive donations from individuals, business, and private foundations.
People can help by serving as volunteers and assisting with fundraising activities, direct care, committee membership or by contributing specialized skills for projects.
NextStep welcomes the opportunity for community groups to host fundraising events that support people with developmental disabilities.
